Indonesia Java is grown on this island just west of Bali where the Dutch cultivated arabica trees early in coffee's history. The arabica beans worth tasting are Indonesia Java which makes a sweet, aromatic and full bodied cup of coffee. This washed variety is used in our Mocha Java Blend. It's not as bold as a Sumatra, not as sweet as a New Guinea, but very smooth.
