Those familiar with the different methods of coffee processing have likely heard of "washed" or "wet-processed" coffee before. Wet hulled processing, however, is a bit different! Used almost exclusively in Indonesia, this method has a much quicker turn around time, allowing Indonesian farmers to export their product a mere month after it was picked (rather than the more typical 2-3 months).
Wet hulling also mutes the acidity and brings out the body strength, highlighting that full body and smooth finish that Indonesian coffees are known for. As for flavor, you can expect your cup of Bali Blue Moon Wet Hulled to have notes of dark chocolate, black pepper and cedar.
